Studio Set-Up for DOS 2024

  • You may want to have a friend help out on logistics so you can focus on talking with the visitors

  • Make a guestbook or some way to collect emails

  • Have someone else encourage leaving email address for you

  • Hang/display your work;  How will you show the prices on your artwork - tags or handouts?

  • It is ideal to have work for people to buy at different price points and in different sizes.

  • How will you ring up a sale?

  • Do you have supplies on hand to wrap a piece?

  • Do you want to provide a certificate of authenticity or sales receipt for their records?

  • Have plenty of business cards to hand out.

  • Do you want to have info about you such as an artist’s statement or bio on hand as well?

  • Do you want to have music? Flowers? Snacks?

  • Planning a raffle? If so, do you have a container for contact info?
